The sun again shimmers in the blue sky above me. As I look at the sky I notice what looks like a huge white bird with a shape like a man flying across the sky. It seems to hover for awhile above me and then continues on toward where I saw the smoke earlier. The path has now changed from the cobblestone to some kind of yellow metal. I stood on the edge of a huge meadow of green grass that stretches for miles. In the distance I could see some mountains on the horizon. I do not see anything else except the mountains the path and the forest I had just exited from. The forest is very interesting. It stretches as far as I can see in both directions bordered by the grassy meadow I am now standing in. As I studied the landscape I felt a slight breeze and faint scent of flowers. I looked in the direction of the breeze and noticed that as the wind moved the grass it was changing colors. There are waves of purple and crimson red fluctuating with the natural greens. I began walking again along the path of yellow not knowing what I will find next. I realized that I had not eaten for some time and was starting to feel hungry. There still was no sign of the smoke I had seen earlier. The sun was starting to set so I decided to lie down at the edge of the trail in the now waist high meadow. The grass was almost like a cushion of air to my back as I lay down. It did not take long and I was asleep. At least I think I was asleep. I began to dream of some very strange place. My memory was starting to come back. I was in a place surrounded by tall buildings and motor cars. There was smoke in the air and people everywhere. I was entering a building when someone shouted "Hey Stan".
I looked back to see a man running in my direction from across the street. "Where have you been?" he asked. " We missed you in the office today."Before I could answer there was a bright flash and the surroundings changed. I was now standing on a cliff overlooking a huge gorge with a river flowing through it several hundred feet down. I realized that I had a hand glider set attached to me and before I could change my mind a breeze had lofted me into the air. I was sailing out over the river. Down below I could see some people in Kayaks navigating the rough waters of the river. It felt wonderful to be flying. It was so natural for me. I was thoroughly enjoying the flight when I noticed a black cloud. It started to rain and the wind was buffeting me. I was afraid the glider was going to rip apart. I tried to go down but the wind kept lifting me I was being pulled up into the clouds. I could no longer see the river or anything.
